Why do ...Its "led" not "lead." Why do you ask so many rhetorical questions? Just give your thoughts! And why do you always give scores backwards???? When you tell the score of a game it's always the highest score first. E.G., Iowa lost to ISU 44-41, not 41-44. Or; Northwestern didn't come back from a 10-28 deficit. That makes no sense! They came back from a 28-10 deficit.Vonbershttps://www.blogger.com/profile/07723499488292550149noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4395246062110265569.post-90037911628261963332011-08-25T08:00:12.464-05:002011-08-25T08:00:12.464-05:00Anyone else have an eye roll after reading the Neb...Anyone else have an eye roll after reading the Nebraska head coach comments?

"We believe that the people of Iowa and the people of Nebraska are very much alike in many ways. But regardless I do think that Iowa fans and the university should lay claim to the '58 championship. That was definitely the best team in school history and they were definitely better than LSU that year. Also Ohio State always talks about their 7 national titles and one of those was the Grantland Rice Trophy like Iowa's.Reyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/14275570105874777738noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4395246062110265569.post-22448961871220293102010-11-10T23:35:32.445-06:002010-11-10T23:35:32.445-06:00Useful information and the list about the near mis...Useful information and the list about the near misses in the preseason poll , and also the top 25 is excellent.

__________________

dissertation WritingUnknownhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/13417060437461267984noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4395246062110265569.post-1299919298058834342010-03-30T20:36:04.530-05:002010-03-30T20:36:04.530-05:00McCaffery will do the job for you. Go back...I completely agree with your +1 solution. Go back to the traditional bowl tie-ins (Pac 10 vs Big Ten every year in the Rose Bowl, etc.) and after the bowl games are played, then match-up who is left at #1 and #2 in the BCS Standings and let them play 2 weeks after New Years Day.

As much as everyone whines and cries for a play-off, it just isn't going to happen anytime soon. Bowls bring in too much $$. The plus-one solution is feasible and would work better than the current system.Bradhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/17761574519299709222noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4395246062110265569.post-51260304418999274932008-07-29T14:02:00.000-05:002008-07-29T14:02:00.000-05:00"Clearly, the list of football powers this decade ..."Clearly, the list of football powers this decade doesn't include Alabama or Notre Dame."

True, but the question didn't say *this decade*.
