Two Iowa players will be suspended for one game. Junior DE Broderick Binns and redshirt sophomore Jewel Hampton will miss opening game vs. Ball State on September 4Th, due to violation of team rules.

Speculation on Sunday in Iowa was surrounded true freshman A.J. Derby moving from QB to LB. Reports out of Chicago indicate that speculation was premature and that Derby will enter fall camp at QB. Derby is the son of former Iowa LB John Derby, who played on Iowa's last Rose Bowl team during the 1990 season.

The 2010 College Football Season should be an outstanding. The Big Ten Conference hopes to provide a lot of excitement both within the conference and nationally. In 2011, Nebraska will move to the Big Ten to become the 12Th member.

There is talk of a 2011 Big Ten Conference title game. Further, like the Pac Ten, look for the Big Ten to move from eight conference games to nine in the near future.
