The 2015 Big Ten West appears to be headed into Wild Wild West ...

  • Illinois (1-0, 4-1 overall) - Could Bill Cubit become the permanent guy in Campaign?
  • Iowa (1-0, 5-0 overall) - the Hawkeyes are off to the best start, since 2009, as the 17th edition of Kirk Ferentz football has seen some change over the past nine months, in Iowa City!
  • Northwestern (1-0, 5-0 overall) - the Wildcats won the Big Ten twenty years ago, when Pat Fizgerald was a player; now, they may have his best team, in the past ten seasons!
  • Wisconsin (0-1, 3-2 overall) - the Badgers won the Big Ten West in 2014, after starting 0-1, but that was with Gary Anderson as head coach and Melvin Gordon at running back!
  • Minnesota (0-1, 3-2 overall) - the Golden Gophers clearly are missing leadership and the senior class of 2014, as Jerry Kill needs an offense to show up, as they have back to back B1G games ...
  • Nebraska (0-1, 2-3 overall) - the Huskers welcomed Mike Riley back in December 2014, but the honeymoon may be coming to a quick end, as they open 2-3 for the first time, since 1959!
  • Purdue (0-1, 1-4 overall) - the Boilermakers keep turning the ball over and over and over at -4 in turnovers ... only Maryland and Rutgers are worse in turnover margin in all games!
