There are the obvious picks heading into the 2018 College Football season:

They have been there before and some are picking them to make a return in 2018:

5. Michigan State

Been there before, but not likely yet, in 2018:

1. Florida State - one site likes them at #5 according to Stassen Composite
2. Oregon - #18 was as good as it gets heading into 2018 ....

So, who could be the new guys to make the College Football Playoff in 2018:
