Stunned: Iowa beat MSU 15-13 on Final Play to go 8-0 for the first time in School History

We thought Iowa would have to score more than 13 points on Saturday in East Lansing to win. We favored Michigan State, if the game was close, but on 4Th and goal at the MSU 7 with 0:02 left, Iowa found magic and an 8-0 record for the first time in school history. Iowa QB Ricky Stanzi hit WR Marvin McNutt on a slant and the rest is Hawkeye history.

#6 Iowa Hawkeyes (8-0, 4-0 Big Ten) 15
Michigan State (4-4, 3-2 Big Ten) 13

In a brutally physical game, which didn't see a TD scored until the 1:37 mark of the 4Th quarter. It looked like Michigan State was going to pull the upset off the #6 Iowa Hawkeyes, but it wasn't to be.

Iowa has won 4 Big Ten games, with three on the road. They reach to midway point at the top of the Big Ten standings. Three of the final four Big Ten games will be at Kinnick Stadium for the Hawks. As Mike Hlas put it, this team needs to get home!
