A season not to be for the Iowa Hawkeyes

After a solid 11-2 season in 2009, prospects for the 2010 season were high in Iowa City, Hawkeye fans and many through college football. But, the Hawkeyes will head into the final game of the season at 7-3 and 4-3 in the Big Ten, after a disappointing 17-20 loss to #8 Ohio State at Kinnick Stadium.

Iowa witnessed 26 seniors take the field for the last time at Kinnick Stadium on Saturday vs. Ohio State. It was Senior Day and a tribute to our men and women in are Armed Services. As a Hawkeye fan, Hawki97 in Section 130 put on YouTube:

Iowa had opportunities, like each and every game, since 2008, but Ohio State finished strong to give Iowa their fourth loss of the 2010 season. Iowa has lost four games by a total of 15 points in 2010. The Hawkeyes lost four games by a total of 12 points in 2008. Iowa has not been defeated by more than 7 points, since the 2007 season.
