The impact of firing a College Football coach midseason

Clemson University pulls the plug on Tommy Bowden this week. The mid-season impact on the team, coaching staff and some in the fan base will be hard felt.

The SEC is an interesting animal and speculation will begin on who is next. The Hot Seat may be getting hotter at Auburn and Tennessee now that Clemson got Tommy Bowden to step down in mid-season.

As the writer points out, change isn't always better. Nebraska dearly saw that with the hiring of Bill Callahan post-Frank Solich.
